Sophia Rising: Women, Power and Presence
On Saturday, March 10 I will be a workshop facilitator for the Vienna VA Women’s Center 26th Annual Leadership Conference. The theme is The Power of Resilience. Women bring unique ways of leading and knowing that can meet the global needs of humanity at this point in time. Through dialogue we will share our collective wisdom and explore the feminine archetype in leadership and its opportunities and challenges. You will learn how successful women integrate authentic power and inspired presence in their leadership.

A Group Coaching Series for Women Entrepreneurs Who Want Success
By 2018 women entrepreneurs will be responsible for creating between 5 million and 5.5 million new jobs nationwide. Will you be one of them?
If you are a woman who owns a business in the Annapolis/Baltimore/DC area, and you are committed to your personal and entrepreneurial success, you are invited to join a collective of smart, successful woman as they work on building their business.
Coached and facilitated by Alicia Rodriguez, President of Sophia Associates, Inc., this small group coaching format will allow you to tap the collective wisdom of the group while enjoying the benefits, structure and accountability inherent in business coaching.
We will meet at The Integral Loft, my workspace on West Street. The setting allows the group to be relaxed and inspired while we do the work. There is a minimum three-month commitment, with a minimum group size of eight and maximum size of ten, meeting the first and third Monday of every month. Each meeting is held at The Integral Loft from 4:30pm-6:00pm except for the first meeting which will be longer, 4:30pm-6:30pm. This will be a closed group. After the first session the group will be closed to additional participants. The format is very collaborative. During the first meeting the group will choose from a list of topics and decide what to work on in each session.
The role of the coach is:
- to hold the space for the creative process
- to ask provocative questions
- to facilitate dialogue
- to bring her extensive experience and resources coaching successful leaders
- to give feedback, challenge and support the participants while holding them accountable for action steps
Fees:
A similar program as an individual would cost over $3,000.00. Because this is a group format, you benefit from a significant discount. The total program cost is a one time payment of $600.00 or $200.00 per month in three installments automatically billed to your credit card. There will be no refunds as the pricing is based on group size.
